Painting

I began practice as a visual artist in 2010 & work with paint, ceramics & textiles & am intent on stretching my techniques & applications.

Generally working with abstract form & focussing on strong colour, tone & line, I endeavour to express themes of personal significance & meaning.

Currently based in North Wales, I am excited & curious about the challenges and opportunities for new directions in my work.

Over the last five years I have produced a variety of work in paint, textiles & ceramics.

My most recent paintings, exhibited in 2012, record my encounter with a labyrinth, using a vibrant palette in acrylics & gouache to create a sense of story, energy & movement.
